you can never go home again.

well, sort of. I visited my alma mater yesterday, GVSU. WOW. everything has a price on it! everything. parking meters where I used to park for free, because it was next to a corn field. Now, $0.25 per 15 minutes! two cups of coffee and two chocolate chip cookies, $8.25!!
room and no board, $4800.00 for like 8 months. My gosh, what must the credit hours and textbooks cost. and the new buildings. wow. just about every couple hundred yards, a new building going up. But not one graduate degree in psychology or clinical psy. some university!

Those poor kids! and their poor parents! Maybe college should stay a place of education and not commerce?? money money. how do kids afford that ??

I of course, was thinking of the wonderful times I had on campus. a wonderful time. oh well. I do wish these student well. I wish I had looked at what assignments they were given, just to see what they're up to.

I guess it is true, you can never go home again.
