if it isn't one thing......

Now I'm seriously thinking of painting the front porch. which is ok, it really needs it and it will keep me out of mischief for a while. ( Maybe)
So, armed with my trusty wallet, packed full of one dollar bills, ( almost 23 of them) I start looking for grey floor paint. I'm thinking along the lines of $16.00 and up to maybe 24 or so. Ha ha ha. try $40.00. for one gallon! woe is my poor wallet! That was a steep prince for sure, but not by much. as you can probably tell by now, I haven't been out in the real world of buying non-essential things, like paint for a time.
so now I'm going to become one "Happy" shopper. Lets see, the last time I bought paint was when I painted the interior of the house. 1987 or so. I didn't see any need to change the color, it was a pastel and looked good and wore great. but we're talking about walking on the porch here. still, $40.00 seems a bit high.

and this is day one of the big weekend. you know, vacuuming, washing and attempting to find something on the 400 plus channels cable provides us with.
oh well,
I'm off to clean and rub and wipe.....
