we did it.....the cat let me ( us) sleep in.....and on a Saturday too.

normally, scooter ( that's my cat) gets antsy on any weekend morning. I think it has to do with my neighbors letting their cats roam around the neighborhood. Well last night, being the 4th of July celebration event #1, the fireworks scared just about all the animals away. yes, we actually had a neighbor have small roman candles and colorful burses in the air thingies.

what a night. I tried to tune it all out by watching "Teenage mutant ninja turtles" marathon, with my DVD's. I almost filled the night with the guys, but missed by about half an hour. Tonight, over here, the city has scheduled the main fireworks display to start at 9:00PM. That was very considerate of them to do this so the families could all be down by the river at the same time. but, that means we have 2 nights of bang pop, sizzle. oh my.

I'm not whining, just stating what is happening.
so, go lite your fuse and don't get burned.

Happy a day late Happy 4th of July
