Yes. It is that time of month, week. When I brave the indoors speedrome, and watch my feet as electric carts, steered by elderly folks, make their way down the aisle, looking for that one grand bargain that will make their trip worth while. Yes, I'm going shopping today! No blue light specials here though. it's all hidden treasure, just waiting for the nosey shopper to find. As for me, I make a list and probably should make a aisle map, to cut my shopping time down. But not me. I'll brave the experience, knowing full well I'll only get what I need. well, the candy doesn't count, does it? There, now I patiently wait for the honk from the lorry that picks me up twice a month.
I watched "Pacific Rim" last night. Leave it to Del Toro to do what almost everybody else has failed to do. Make a realistic mecha film that has the look and feel that they're real! So this is one reason he left Peter Jackson to do his other projects. Good for him. I wish there could be a part 2, but not with this story line.
