Another beautiful day in the old neighborhood.

I worked a ham in Brazil today. I've changed over the years. Before, just making contact with a distant station would mean getting a confirmation card from him. Now days, I actually look forward to chatting with the station.  Amateur Radio, an exciting hobby.

I had one nice diversion today. Bob came over and asked me to go with him to take back a graphic pencil point maker (?). It seems that Bob couldn't  put the one he got yesterday together. neither could the store employees. oh well.
It's getting cold outside. like in dropping to the upper 20's.  but, at least they took the snow out of the forecast. for now.
