Well, I'm a tad short on the old groceries, so I decided to thaw out the Kalbasa I got. Oh boy... Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful that my friends share with me. and 4 plus pounds for fresh and smoked Kalbasa is nothing to laugh about. However, This past January, our local grocery store had a sale: buy one link of kalbasa, and get three free. well...I did this about once a week for three weeks and ended up with about 12 links of Kalbasa. I thought I could freeze these puppies till spring and cook out time. but that didn't work out so well. I had company and had Kalbasa for about 3 weeks straight. Basically, I'm Kalbased out... and tonight, I fixed....you guessed it. I think I'll start brewing nice vegtable soup or something similar.
