R.I.P. Circuit City.

I always liked you best! You always had what I wanted and didn't charge me a arm and leg for it. Just last week, you brough me 100 blank CD's and 50 blank DVDs. $15.00 off Best Buy.
You replaced Montgomery wards for so many small electronic appliances.
The big shots on wall street say the T.A.R.P. should not be used to have saved you. I kind of agree. But then the idiot went on to suggest that CC was a "Bad" company.
That pissed me off! Bank of America ( thats a great fitting name!) almost went under, so it got T.A.R.P. funds, billions and it bought CountryWide mortage, Merry Lynch, ect. Now, it's under funded, so it goes back to get more TARP. wait a minute. Wasn't TARP supposed to help the financials buy up toxic loans? All I see is a bank getting bigger and hungrier.

But Circuit City was a bad company.

As Kurt Vonnegut would say, " So it goes". Where ever are you Elliot Rosewater when we need you?

now off to get tiddied up for the dinner tonight.
