"Hey, cool.....I got some neat stuff at the garage sale.."

I don't believe it. I thought the garage sale was nothing more than a pain in the butt, till I went over and looked it all over. Wow. I spent all of my pocket money. ( whoopie...$3.75) I got a 5lb. hand held dumb bell, great for lifting and building my arm muscles with. I bought about 9 picture frames. These were the hard to find sizes. I also spotted a metal frame with the Pope's photo in it. I got that for a friend. I got a neat little folder to put my loose club papers and notes in. ( just like the notebook of yesterday).
and because I was a "good" boy, ( whatever that is?) I got a free "Physicians Desk Reference" for 1996. I know its old, but it has oodles of interesting things in it.
I almost got the deal of a life time. I asked the lady who is putting this on, how much for her sister. She had to think, then said she's not for sale. ( this made her sister feel good, she just lost her job after 20 years working for the same company. No, they didn't move out or anything, they just thought she was getting too old, whatever the hell that is!!)

so, all in all, I had a pretty good time. They were going to have it today to, but it rained most of the day. nuts.
